Southern Grind Knives

Southern Grind was founded in 2010 by Grammy-winning country artist and lifelong knife enthusiast Zac Brown, starting out in his own metal shop in Peachtree City, Georgia. The goal was simple: build dependable, American-made knives with premium materials and meticulous attention to detail. Every Southern Grind knife is machined and hand-assembled in the United States, with blade beveling done in-house. Models like the Spider Monkey, Bad Monkey, and Quill have built a loyal following, with current production running modern steels such as CPM MagnaCut and S90V. In 2021 the company joined Diamondback Knife Works and moved to Florida, where designer Neil Kamimura continues developing new models under Brown's original vision of rugged, reliable knives built to be used.
