Your right of withdrawal

If You are a consumer, You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which You, or a third party other than the carrier nominated by You, take physical possession of the last item in the order.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, You may use the return option in Your account, or inform us of Your decision to withdraw by a clear statement. You do not need to provide a reason. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient that You send Your communication concerning the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the 14-day period has expired.

If the last day of the withdrawal period falls on a Saturday, Sunday, or public holiday, the period is extended to the next working day.

How to start a return or cancellation

To start a return, log in to Your account at https://account.knivesknife.com/orders and follow the returns process. If You checked out using only a phone number (without an email address), please use the return link in Your SMS order confirmation instead. You may also contact us directly if You prefer.

Cancelling an order before fulfillment

You may cancel Your order at any time before it has been fulfilled (shipped), at no cost, by using Your account at https://account.knivesknife.com/orders or by contacting us directly. If the order has already been fulfilled, the right of withdrawal described above applies instead.

Returning the goods

You must send the goods back to us without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the day on which You communicate Your withdrawal. The deadline is met if You send the goods back before the 14-day period has expired.

Condition of the goods

You are entitled to unpack, inspect, and handle the goods to the extent necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning, in the same way You would be allowed to in a physical shop. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning, for example signs of use, sharpening, or damage occurring after delivery. In such cases we may reduce the refund by an amount corresponding to the diminished value.

Shipping costs

  • Defective or incorrectly supplied items: We cover the cost of return shipping.
  • Withdrawal or change of mind: You bear the direct cost of returning the goods.

Refunds

We will reimburse all payments received from You, including the cost of the original standard delivery, without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed of Your decision to withdraw from the contract. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back, or until You have supplied evidence of having sent the goods back, whichever is the earliest.

If You expressly chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive standard delivery we offer, we are not required to reimburse the supplementary costs above that standard rate.

We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment You used for the initial transaction, unless You have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, You will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement. In practice, refunds are normally processed within 5 to 10 business days after we receive and inspect the returned goods.

Defective goods

Your statutory rights in respect of goods that are defective, not as described, or not fit for purpose are not affected by this withdrawal policy. If an item arrives defective or incorrect, please contact us and we will arrange a repair, replacement, or refund as appropriate, and we will cover the return shipping.
