The Khyber 2650 is a rare piece of Japanese cutlery history, hand-crafted in Seki during the golden age of Ka-Bar production (1976-1983) under Tak Fukuta, an apprentice to Bob Loveless and first Japanese member of the American Knife Maker's Guild. This fixed blade features a 4-inch AUS-6A stainless steel blade with factory mirror polish and edge, paired with a maroon micarta handle and nickel silver guard, all in unused condition from original warehouse stock. With its 8.87-inch overall length, this is a serious hunting and utility blade that reflects the refined craftsmanship Fukuta brought to the Japanese knife industry. Collectors and working hunters alike will appreciate both the pedigree and the clean, functional Loveless-style design.

This is a fantastic quality vintage old stock Khyber 2650 that has never been carried or used. The AUS-6A blade edge is factory sharpened and mirror polished and the handle is red micarta. A rare find in this condition! Khyber brand knives are high quality Japanese Ka-Bar knives that were imported from Japan between 1976-1983 by the Cole National Corporation - the same company that owned Ka-Bar. Tak Fukuta was the first Japanese member of the American Knife Maker's Guild, and apprentice to Bob Loveless. He hand crafted fine quality knives that impressed his mentor. Over the years, his factory in Seki, Japan also produced knives for Parker, Valor, Gutmann, Explorer, Frost, and Browning among others. After his passing, several unused vintage old stock models were found at his warehouse. This is one of these rare finds.
