The Extrema Ratio MF1 EVO SP in black is a large linerlock folder with a spear point blade and added cutting versatility. The 4" Bohler N690 stainless blade arrives with a black DLC coating and partial serration -- N690 is an Austrian stainless steel known for good edge retention and strong corrosion resistance, comparable to premium steels like VG-10, and the serrations add bite through rope, webbing, and other fibrous materials. The knife is backed by Extrema Ratio's new generation "Hidden Lock" safety system for added security beyond the standard liner lock. The black textured G10 handle keeps the look clean and understated in a substantial 5" closed package. A thumb stud makes one-handed opening straightforward, and a pocket clip is included.
