The North Mountain Blade Chop 2 with Purple Glow carbon fiber is a button lock folding knife that looks sharp by day and shows off its inlay after dark. The 3.5" tanto blade is SLD-Magic tool steel with a black DLC coating -- SLD-Magic is a Japanese steel from Hitachi known for high hardness and strong edge retention, and the DLC layer adds a hard, low-glare, protective finish. The black aluminum handle is set with a Purple Glow carbon fiber inlay that blends a carbon fiber weave with luminous purple accents, in a 4.5" closed package. An extended tang plus thumb disk make one-handed opening easy, a pocket clip is included, and the knife ships in a black molded plastic storage case.
