The SOG Prohen XR in black is a rugged EDC folder designed in collaboration with Mikkel Willumsen, built around SOG's XR locking mechanism. The 3.38" Cryo D2 tool steel drop point blade arrives with a black TiNi coating -- D2 is a semi-stainless tool steel prized for excellent wear resistance and edge retention, with modest corrosion resistance that rewards occasional maintenance, and the TiNi coating adds a hard, low-glare surface. The black G10 handle provides a textured, secure grip, and the XR Lock delivers fast, ambidextrous one-handed opening via thumb hole or flipper, with a reversible deep-carry pocket clip for left- or right-hand carry.
