The SOG Bowie 2.0 is a modern tribute to the original Studies and Observation Group knife developed for elite Special Forces operations during the Vietnam War. The 6.4" AUS-8 blade features a deep hollow grind, sculpted crossguard, faceted tip, and SOG's Hardcased Black TiNi coating -- AUS-8 is a mid-range stainless steel that balances edge retention and toughness, and the TiNi coating adds a hard, corrosion-resistant black surface finish. The epoxied leather washer handle is a direct nod to the original design, providing a traditional look and a grip that improves with use. A leather sheath with sharpening stone is included, completing a package that carries as much history as it does utility.
